Update from South East Water – Drinking Water Now Safe – Friday 12th December 2025
Please see the attached communication from South East Water confirming that the boil water notice has now been lifted with immediate effect. Tap water in the affected area is safe to drink and can be used as normal for all everyday purposes.
South East Water has confirmed that treatment processes have been updated and the network flushed to ensure water quality meets required standards. Guidance on next steps for customers, including flushing taps where needed, is included in their notice.
